I started watching Halt and Catch Fire. The show's okay, but it makes me really want to build my own computer. As the title suggests (rather strongly), I chose the Z80. I was debating the 6502, but two things happened:

• I recently bought an RC2014, though it hasn't shown up yet; this is a Z80-based system, which might make an interesting development platform.
• I found Steve Ciarcia's book Build Your Own Z80 Computer, but nothing similar for the 6502.

Eventually I do want to do a 6502 version, but for now, it looks like I'm throwing my hat in with the Z80.
